When I first inquired about one of Chris Vallee's listings I asked to see the disclosures right away considering the property had been on the market a long time. The disclosure indicated that the homeowner had experienced water loss one time but that it restored and there were no further issues. My agent and I inquired about this issue to get a little more info and were told that this water loss NEVER OCCURRED and that a former agent with Vallee who was no longer there had erroneously added that on as a disclosure and that there was NO issue with water quantity and that it was going to be removed from the disclosure. And it was. Three or four days after we closed on the house, I lost water. We have three small kids and were rendered waterless for quite some time. Shawna Wells blatantly lied to us and illegally removed a disclosure in order to sell a house that wasn't selling. Vallee allows these cut-throat practices and our attorney says they have received several complaints on this agency. This was also a USDA loan and I'm going to ensure this gets investigated to the fullest and that they're held responsible.
Avoid at all cost
Our lifestyle and quality of life is affected by our lack of water and we had been assured by Vallee that this was a non-issue. As a stay-at-home mom we aren't able to afford $1700 for a pump, especially within a week of moving. If this had been maintained as a disclosure we surely would have asked for a pump before closing but we were cheated and misled by Shawna Wells. At the closing Shawna was also passive aggressive and rude, and during the buying process she was also very rude to my agent. Vallee's agents exhibit profit> people.
